Today's Wine Bottle Photography Tip is short and sweet. When taking the wine bottle image, use a gray-card to ensure your white balance is as awesome. And, take the image in RAW format. You will be greatly rewarded for making the extra effort.
So the work flow is simple but worth listing:
1) Take each image with a gray card. I tape a small one to the front of the plastic stand I perch the bottle upon.
2) Open the image using Photoshop's Camera Raw.
3) Use the white balance tool to adjust the image with just one click.
That is it. So short and simple, but so important to creating an image with the colors correct and true.
